15 months old

Daddy was singing "Morning has Broken" at breakfast this weekend: "Morning has broken/ Like the first mor-ning/ Doo doo da doo - doo /Da doo doo doo...". He told Louise, "Mummy & I got married to that song." "You got married to the doo doo song?" she asked.

At another meal, we asked Louise what she wanted to do when she grows up. "Work at GSK with Daddy." What do you want to do there? "Work." Will you get a PhD like Mummy? "No. Me drive Toyota minivan."

We've been really enjoying spending time with our neighbours Peter, Kim, and Luke in the evening. It's good to live next door to a boy who is the same age as the little ones. We may not think so in 15 years time, of course.

In other news, the music factory had their 15 month appointment today. No big surprises - they're developmentally normal, and Claire is a Big Girl. Their vitals:

Charlotte - 22 lbs 5 oz (50th percentile)
30.75 in long (70th percentile)
48.5 cm head circumference (95th percentile)
Claire - 25 lbs 6 oz (90th %)
31 in long (75th)
49.5 cm head (off the chart)
