A great end to 2008

We met up with Katie (a friend from daycare) and her father, BJ today and the girls had a great time together after being apart for nearly two weeks due to the holidays. We wish everyone a happy 2009.

Week 21 update

Alison had an ultrasound scan this morning and all is looking good with both babies. They each have their own sacks so there is much less risk of either of them getting entangled in the others umbilical cord. The usual gestation period for twins is 36-38 weeks so this places their arrival in mid April (11th-25th). We are taking bets now!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to everyone. We have enjoyed our day so far, with Louise being well behaved at Church this morning and now the turkey is cooking. All the presents have been opened and Louise has enjoyed them all, especially the talking vacuum cleaner and the trike! It is sunny so she has been able to try the trike outside, still getting used to the idea of peddles.

Winter Festival

Louise enjoys the "Winter Festival" at daycare (although it is hardly winter with temperatures due to reach 60F on Christmas day). She also enjoyed wearing an early Christmas gift meant for mummy.
Louise has been working on her jumping technique and can now get some air (at least an inch)!

Movie - Louise dances with a toy pig!

Louise received as a Christmas present from Uncle Nick and Aunt Margaret in Oklahoma a toy pig that plays Christmas music - it was an instant hit!

Movie - Louise's first day (16 Feb 07)

This new site allows movies to be uploaded so we have added one we filmed of Louise on 16th February 2007 - the day she was born. In this short movie (31 seconds) she sneezes!

13th December

Louise has had a good week and when she received her flu shot a few days ago she didn't cry at all and only wriggled a little. Doing much better than some adults we know (including her Dad!) She has started to teethe and this should be the final set of molars, no major pain yet.

Week 16 ultrasounds

Today's appointment went well - there were two strong heartbeats, and both babies were moving around. The top two pictures are of baby 'B'; to the left is baby 'A".
